Correct Bounce House or Inflatable Anchoring
One of the most important parts of setting up an inflatable is correct anchoring. Many accidents involving bounce houses result from improper setup. A lot of factors determine the correct anchoring method, such as wind, surface, size, and what type of bounce house or inflatable it is. A quote from Tammie Mason in the Moonwalk Forum Newsletter states, "When choosing the correct anchors for your Bounce House, consult the owners manual from the manufacturer. Try calling the manufacturer if you do not have a copy. In the Amusement Ride Safety Bulletin issued in 2001, the CPSC recommends the use of ground weights (sand bags) of at least 75 pounds for bounce type rides up to 500 pounds for slide type rides at EACH anchor point. If you choose to use straight stakes the CPSC recommends lengths ranging from 30"-42" depending on the ground surface, with at least 75% of the stake in the ground." Under the cover of darkness, we'll quietly, making every effort to not be caught, setup your yard card display between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. (or during a time of your choosing) on the day you choose. 2 or 5 days later, we'll pick up the display after sundown, giving the recipient maximum exposure and enjoyment.That's all there is to it!
