Where do you need Pharmacies ?
Review of Towne Drugs
Great value for the money, as the Brits say.
I used to go to Towne Drugs back in the 70's, but then moved to a neighboring community and wrongly assumed that the chain drug stores were less expensive. I recently had to get a prescription for insulin for a pet (therefore uninsured) & checked with Walmart, Giant Eagle, Walgreen's & Rite Aid for costs. Towne Drug's price was significantly lower ($103 compared to $123.99 for Giant Eagle). The pharmacist comes out from behind the counter to talk with customers, without being asked to - made sure I understood details about using the drug, etc. So I saved money & supported an independent business. What's not to love?
