I recently had my hair color ruined at New Image hair salon. I asked for an experienced stylist as my hair can be tricky when highlighting. I was scheduled with Ashley who I later found out has only been out of school for a few months. I left after 6 hrs of Ashley trying to get the color right. I left with orange roots and streaks of purple. I was charged 70 dollars. The next day I had to go to my former stylist in Brentwood to have the mess my hair was in corrected. I called New Image to ask for my money back and was told that Mary Selby, the owner, said they don't give refunds. I left my name and number for Mary to call me back. I never heard from her, not even an apology. It cost me an additional 180 dollars to correct their mistake. The cut was so bad I had to lose a few inches off of my hair to correct that as well. May 4, 2015 I went into the Sally Beauty Supply (621 South Cumberland Street, Lebanon TN 37087) today at around 12:00 this afternoon. I asked the employee standing at the register if the store gave out any samples of hair products. Although she replied to my inquiry, I did not feel as if she wanted to help me in my search for hair care products. She continued going to the register even though there were no other customers present. She didn't ask me what kind of hair products I was looking for and didn't recommend any hair products that I could try. Her attitude towards me was rude and unprofessional. The employee also ignored me when I tried to ask her another question and made me feel like I was a bother to her. I am VERY displeased with the service that I received during my visit to this Sally Beauty Supply location. I do not recommend this store because of the poor customer service.
