ECLIPSE WINDOW TINTING

5.0

By lillyofthevalley

My dashboard in my car had melted from the high heat and my air conditioning couldn't keep up on warm days. Eclipse Window Tinting suggested that I put ceramic film tint on my windshield. I was amazed at the difference this made with the heat coming through!! I would highly recommend this tint to everyone. I was very pleased with the product and service that I received from Eclipse Window Tinting!! ...read more

Sunblockers

I would not recommend this company to anyone. He rushed through our windows and we had to get them redone three times. The first time it was peeling, and the second time it was completely scratched up. He never apogized for the inconvenience. The car was also filthy when we picked it up. The seats, floor, door handles, and inside was black and dirty. Overall, this was an awful experience. ...read more

AAA Blind & Shutter Factory

5.0

By Myrtle Beach Franchise Opportunities

We recently replaced our flooring with The Flooring Connection and we also wanted to replace the window treatments. They recommended AAA Blind and Shutter because we wanted a full service company. Since we installed hardwood floors, we decided that plantation shutters would look great. AAA helped us select the right colors and finish and then made the shutters and installed them. I love working with companies that can handle a project from beginning to end. The staff at AAA Blind and Shutter Factory is great. ...read more

Great Window Treatments Options For Kitchens And Beyond

When it comes to what to put on your windows, the options are plentiful. Depending on your personal sense of style, the colors and style of the decorations in the room and of course, how much money you want to spend. Window treatments can be more than just coverings over the windows—they can reflect your personality and taste, bringing beauty to any room of your home. Go Minimal! If you want to freshen up the look in your home, consider taking away the heavy drapes and replace them with some lighter, simple shades.  Swags or upholstered cornices can lighten upwindow treatments without so much heavy fabric. Lighten Things Up.  You’ll want as much natural lighting in the kitchen as possible. One great way to get that is with pleated shades as the window treatments. They allow plenty of light in, while still offering privacy. Go Current With Your Color Choices. When choosing fabrics for your window treatments, think about contemporary tones and what is current, Earth tones, mixed in with greens, gold, and even blacks are very current and give a natural earthy feel that is very up to date. You can also mix in cotton fabrics with prints, or use prints in your accent pieces, like pillows or cushions. Remember to think about the size of the kitchen—lighter colors can open up a room while darker window treatments can make a larger room cozier. Texture Is In! Natural materials like rattan, bamboo or natural fibers for your shades or window treatments are a great way to bring in layered looks with lots of texture. Soften Up Direct Light. Kitchens can be a room that tend to have too much direct sunlight, but it can certainly be an issue in any room in the house. One way to soften that up is to pull in wood blinds or shades made from woven wood. Any material like this, which will filter the light, can be easier on the eyes and cut down on excess heat that can make a room unpleasant. Get Curvy. Kitchens in particular often have so many straight lines with square counters and cabinets, so why not soften all these linear looks with some curves? Consider window treatments that are softer, flowing into arches or pleats, or perhaps adding an arched effect with fabric or structure above a stove or other focal point in the room.  You could also choose a valance that arches above the sink. This is especially helpful in a small kitchen, to keep it from looking boxy. These are just a few ideas to soften the edges and bring great window treatments to your home!
