This morning I spoke to Megan, the internet sales specialist, on an XLE Accord. She discussed pricing with Michael, the owner's son and sales manager. He returned with a firm price of $25,600 on a 2016 Honda Accord XLE - 4 cyl, and a 2015 XLE - 6 cyls. I met him in early afternoon. Angelo showed me the 2015 and a white 2016. He stated several times that the only issue for my sister was to pick a color, and the price would be honored. We arrived at 6:15 PM. My sister drove the white 2016, I asked if the cost of the car we drove was $25,600 to which he said each time, "Yes absolutely! You were with me when Michael detailed the cost of the car. It's yours for that price," but returned saying that there would be an added cost of $775. Angelo was as surprised as us. I asked Michael to honor the price. He laughed and refused. I rode at Newport Equestrian for about 8 months (still ride there now) and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Some of these reviews talk about false advertising. Not true. If you didn't know, Middletown beaches are open to horses from September 30 to May 1. In the Summer the horses aren't ALLOWED on the beach. Anyways, I love this place so much and the horses are cared for very well. They are trained very well also. And what wrong with a ride on the road? Everyone complains about riding on the road but if you didn't want to walk on the road then you shouldn't have done it. Also I've seen complaints about just walking. Do you want to trot, canter or even gallop? Horse back riding isn't easy at all. The staff is only walking because we want to keep everyone safe. Saturday, Oct 27th I went to the store "SPIRIT HALLOWEEN" I purchased several items. When I got home I was on my computer and received an email from the store saying I had a 20% off coupon but it had to be used today. (the 27th). I went back to the store last night with the coupon and my receipt and the line for the register was to the back of the store. I went back Sunday to bring the receipt and also to return an item I was not going to use and was told I could not return the item they stop taking returns on Oct 20th and I also would not be able to receive the discount even though I had the coupon and I had my receipt from yesterday. West Main Auto gave me a fair estimate and correct recommendation last spring regarding extensive mechanical bushing replacements recommended by another local shop (Kent's Auto Alignment) as precursor work for an alignment on a 2000 Saturn LS-1. I only wish they were willing to stand behind it...At the time, West Main Auto made the CORRECT assessment that the $600 plus bushing replacement work recommended by Kent's was not required to get a safe alignment for a car which I would only drive for a year. Based on West Main Auto's recommendation, I elected not to get the bushing replacement done and had the alignment work done elsewhere, walking away thinking I had found an honest shop willing to answer hard questions from a customer.
