How DO you DO Real Estate?

Real estate is my second career and , yes, I am fairly young but I got right to working right out of college. At age 37, I am a very happy wife, mother and realtor. I am constantly thinking of ways to survive in the ever changing market.Some of my friends have asked me how on earth do I "do" real estate when I have two small children and a husband who is a  high school teacher and musician.Well, the answer is, "I have no idea!" I just do it. There are basically two types of people, those who do and those who make excuses for not doing. When I finally got my license, many of my stay at home mom friends said that I was being a bad mother and that I'd never have enough time to do this thing called real estate.  I became a realtor,  because I love it and have always loved it. It is also good for mothers. I do a lot of work from my home office and actually go into my brokerage once or twice a week. I am in constant contact with my broker, mentor,admin, etc.  I feel free and valued. Before real estate, I was a public school teacher for 11 years and was attacked my last year by two of my high school students.
