Reasonable prices and a friendly, laidback atmosphere.... my daughter loved it here. We had to stop her lessens for a while due to my husband's job security at the time, but I am looking to sign her up again for next year :) ...read more

My daughter enjoys learning to play the piano, because of the encouragement and guidance of the school staff. The school strives to incorporate fun in learning, which motivates my child to practice at home and to look forward to the next class! The instructors consider the different learning styles of each student to maximize the potential of each one. Truly a wonderful school! ...read more

I have been bringing my children (daughter 9, son 12) to the Southampton Music Company for almost 3 years now, and let me just tell you how relieved I was to have found a hobby that they stick to! My daughter takes piano lessons and my son drums, and both of them love going to their lessons each week and the two of them are always practicing with each other. The Southampton Music Company is a wonderful and warm music studio that really concentrates on helping the students grow and learn, not just trying to acheive perfection. I highly reccommend the Southampton Music Company to anyone with children of all ages interested in a musical experience. ...read more

Learning Music at Southampton Music Company
Whether you're 6 months old or 66 years old, music holds a value that can be enjoyed the rest of your life. Our motto at Southampton Music is "Music is the gift of a lifetime." Quite simply, when you no longer can play football or basketball or baseball, you can still play an instrument or sing. Southampton Music has been in the community for 16 years. Many of our students started their musical journey at the toddler age with a music class and continued on with private instruction. Some of those first toddlers have now gone on to college to begin a career in music. They have spent much of their youth with their second family, their music teachers. Anyone can learn an instrument, young or old. It might be easier for a child to absorb the new information but the benefits of learning an instrument as an adult have been proven over and over. We have many adults who had started to learn an instrument, got a little frustrated with themselves, and now come every week to enjoy the whole experience. Music is a journey that only gets better the longer you stay with it. We don't expect all students to be professional players. Not everyone has that talent. But, EVERY student can benefit from music instruction. Studies have been shown that music instruction helps in critical thinking in math for young students and helps in staving off signs of dementia in older students. It's a win-win deal. So, if you are thinking about music for your child or yourself, don't even think twice about it. You NEED to do it. Visit our website or call us and we can start YOUR journey.
