Bad Business ethics here!!! When told the scrap coins in the buckets go for say...10x1 and you choose a few, they should be tallied and your total multiplied by 10 right??? right. But when the owner scrutinizes the coins you picked, with a loop, then opens up the grey sheet and quotes you a price that doesn't jibe with 10x1, it's a further demonstration of BAD BUSINESS ETHICS. What your doing is sneakily getting free labor from the customers having them separate your coins. This business doesn't care about customers, they care about money. Repaired an antique long drop weight driven wall clock. Estimate and final cost were the same. Turnover on the repair was fast - two weeks and they fully explained what was down and how to correctly put the clock back into service. My grandfather clock stopped when my painters moved it. Paul came as scheduled and rebalanced my grandfather clock. It is ticking away just fine. I've used them before. Since I have been in the book business with Antique Books Den I have seen many interesting things. The people are as interesting as the books.
