Bally Total Fitness

We were members at Bally's and really enjoyed this place, but since they switched to LA Fitness the level of customer service has been so terrible we had to quit. They lied to us about being able to use our previous personal training sessions just to get us to sign up. First they told us we could keep our sessions. Then they told use we couldn't after we signed up. All they do is give you the run around to try to confuse you into staying with them. We set up 3 training sessions, and when we got there the trainer wasn't there. It is so unprofessional, and they don't even realize it. There are so many other gyms in this city. I regret that we wasted our time here. Please don't make the mistake we did. ...read more

So You Joined a Great Biz Opp... But Your Upline? "Not So Much."

Subscribe to Sandra "Speaks" by Email The purpose of this article is to inform and warn those new to online marketing about some of the pitfalls ofmaking money online. But by no stretch of the imagination am I a marketing guru, genius or specialist. I am simply someone who has spent several years online, and a bunch of money and time trying various business opportunities trying to generate a residual income. You see, I have had my share of successes and failures, and this is why I want to share what I have learned (albeit the hard way) with those new to theonline businessarena, and hopefully, the unsuspecting newbies and opportunity seekers will take it for what it is worth, and avoid the same pitfalls that I have encountered over the years. Before I move on, I was asked by a dear reader to explain in a bit more detail the second paragraph, and without listing every single negative experience that I encountered over the last few years, I thought it best to share this particular one to give you an idea of just what I meant. When I first came online seeking to earn some extra cash to supplement my income, I was very green; I knew nothing about marketing online, how to recognize scams or to spot red flags were. In hind-sight, I blame my tunnel vision for e my naïveté.  I remember being soley focused on my overwhelming need to make some extra cash, and to make it as quickly as possible, that I did not bother to educate myself on the art of making money online. Thusly, without the knowledge I now have, I jumped head first, and  unarmed into program after program, biz opp after biz opp until one day, I joined a biz opp that sounded ever so wonderful and promising.  It even had a great website, and the people....oh the people they were so wonderful, and helpful don't cha know.  (sense my sarcasm yet?)  Well I was lured, baited, hooked, and fried! Yep! this program cost me my hard-earned $500.00!  Well do you know what happened next?  Sure you do.  Those wonderfully friendly people became instantly untouchable and unreachable.  Then finally, it occurred to me to check them out.  Duh. Well soon after discovering what I learned about this scam biz opp, and the people who were running it, I was not surprised when I later learned  that the law had caught up with them, and they were brought to justice.  Albeit, I was happy about that, but I also knew that my $500.0 wash gone forever.  Did it hurt?  Of course it did.  There was nothing left for me to do but cut losses, and chalk it as a $500.00 lesson taught, and a $500.00 lesson well learned. So there you have it in short.  Hence the reason for this blog .  Hopefully you will  understand more clearly why I have made it my personal responsibility to warn, arm and alert others sparing them the same pain and embarrassment that I once suffered. Now let's move on....and here we go... INCOME OPPORTUNITY SPONSORS Today, I want talk to you about income opportunity sponsors. Now we know that from the onset of the global recession many people have and are still losing their jobs at an alarming rate. Some of these people have successfully held these jobs for many years and for others maybe even a life time.Since that time, many of these same people have been seeking and discovering other ways to create a legitimate andsubstantial income, and statistics show that more and more people are coming online looking to make money online, and that many more are discovering the internet and the opportunities there for the first time. Some may join a money making program, an online business opportunity or even start an home-based business of their very own via the internet. DUE DILIGENCE: WHY IT IS NECESSARYNow let me tip you here, this blog is not necessarily about the overwhelming amount of opportunities available online, or about which ones are legitimate and which ones are not. But it is completely about helping the hopeful-newbie select the right team or sponsor to join under once he/she has determined for themselves the ideal program or online business to join orpartner with. Now, I assume that any newbie that has reached this point in their decision has already performed in-depth research and due diligence on the program of choice long before plunking down their hard earned dollars on high sign-up fees or startup costs.SELECTING THE RIGHT AND BEST TEAMNow that said, let's move on. Now, please know that "almost" all online programs have teams (I won't talk too much about MLM Teams here, as I will do a more detailed article on this in an upcoming blog). that are made up of uplines, downlines, and matrixes and so on, and the way into most of these programs is via sponsorship. Now a sponsor is someone who is supposed to help you get setup and started on your new venture. It should be a "take-you-by-the-hand" type of guidance that will lead into theduplicatable successthat enticed you to join in the first place. Now choosing the right team and sponsor can be a bit tricky if you do not know what to look for or even where to look. Looking for a good sponsor will take a bit of time and research. But it is well worth it as you do not want to sign up under a sponsor that knows about as little about the business as you do, or simply will leave you floundering without a clue of what to do next. So take your time, be patient, and believe me when I say "it will pay off in the long run and pay off well!"HOW TO CHECK OUT A TEAM BEFORE JOININGAlright, you have your program selected, you are ready to get started, BUT! Before jumping headlong into your ideal program go to Google or any other search engine and check out the team. For instance if you were looking to join anincome opportunitysuch as Click Bank, GDI, Power List Marketing just to name a few. Take a few extra minutes of your time and visit online forums to find out what real people have to say and how they are faring in the program of your choice. The purpose for doing this is shine some light on the subject of sponsors, and a chance to "look before you leap" into a business. Now back to forums, listen, you do not have to join most forums to read what people have to say about a particular biz opp of interest. However, you will be required to join if have a question or wish to reply to a particular forum post. Personally, I prefer forums and chat rooms as people are a lot more candid in these kinds of arenas when it comes to giving their opinions. Here is where you can find a separate and different source of information..YouTube.Yep! That's right, YouTube. It has been my experience, that this is one of the best places to really find a good team and good sponsors. Again, you can feel free to perform a due diligence here on all sorts of biz opps like Click Bank, GDI, Power List Marketing etc, Tony Tezak, traffic exchanges and more, (I will be covering this also in a later blog) but expect to be bombarded with video after videos of everybody and their momma talking about this biz opp, and that biz opp, and how tomake money online.Take note. These are all sponsors! Check them out using the methods I have told you about in this blog. Listen to their stories pay special attention to those that do not mind revealing to you who they are, a real address, telephone number (proving that they are accessible, and reachable, and can provide true and actual proof of their income made in the program or business that you have taken an interest in.GOOGLE IT!Next, take that sponsor's name and Google it. The purpose for this is to see if they have an internet presence. Meaning, if they are known, if so, how widely know are they. Are they legit, and honest. Or they easy to reach etc. It's sort of like doing an unofficial background check.Take a few extra minutes and visit Facebook, Twitter, and My Space to see if they have a following or team. You may even want to check out a few of their team members using the same methods, and search more forums for any conversations about the program or team.SOUNDS LIKE A LOT....BUT YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DIDI know, this all sounds like a lot of work that will take a lot of time, sure it is. But I can promise you, it will pay off in the end, and what is more, you will be glad you took the time to do this, as so much is at stake.YOU CAN MAKE MONEY ONLINE: BUT YOU "SHOULD" ALWAYS LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP!!!I am not yelling at you, I just want you to take caution.Once you have found a team and sponsor that measure up try contacting that sponsor via email or telephone. Ask them about their teams success, how much money have they made so far, how long have they been in the program and whatever else may come to mind. Don't be shy, after all it is your money and your time. So take your time, ask all the right questions so that you may make an informed decision and chose wisely.WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A SPONSORChoosing a good, caring and responsive sponsor with ateamthat is on the move is essential as you do not want to join an online business or program where the sponsor silver tongued you to join with cash in hand, only to leave you floundering after they head off into the sunset with your hard earned dollars. As I said before, a sponsor's vocation is to provide you with all the necessary resources to help you grow your business and to become successful online. In example, the sponsor should school you on advertising. That is how to advertise, and where the best places are to advertise. They may even provide you with links to ideal sites whose sole purposes on this planet are adverting and some of these sites might even offer free or purchasable ad placements. A good sponsor will check in on you to see how things are coming along, and see if you need any help. Also, your sponsor should be able to provide you with ways and resources on how to drive traffic to your new site, acquire leads, how to follow up with your warm leads.A good sponsor will keep you informed on leads, training calls, program updates, and any other information that will help you grow your new business and to be successful. After all, helping you to be successful helps your sponsor to be even more successful.IN CONCLUSIONSo if you are new to the business of trying to make money online, I hope this blog or article has been helpful. I provided you with as much information and detail as possible. But, you can always research it further on the internet. You are welcome to use this blog as a good jumping off point. I believe if you can consider what is written here and again, take it for all it's worth, you will do well in your online business.Until my next post, be blessed, be careful, be wise, but mostly, be informed.
