The Woodmere Museum is without a doubt one of the finest art museums in Philadelphia, especially if you appreciate the artists of the New Hope Colony and the Hudson River Valley. Moreover the price is right- it is free! Notable is the upcoming exhibition of the great but little known John Fulton Folinsbee beginning in November. ...read more

The place was clean and the the staff was really friendly. The place is right across the bridge from the franklin institute area and we parked at Campus Park and Ride which has free weekend parking if you are going to the museum. Definately a must see! ...read more

For over 25 years, NABVETS has led the challenge to call attention to the plight of veterans who have been victims of Agent Orange, Post Traumatic Stress, less than honorable discharges, amnesty for Vietnam era veterans, homelessness and a myriad of other veterans concerns.   Along with its claims services staff, NABVETS works in collaboration with the National Veterans Legal Service Program, the most prominent law firm in representing veterans’ claims.   NOTICE: Honor of your WWII family member, friend or just sponsor a veteran, by purchasing a brick with their name engraved.
