Chapline Computers

5.0

By Hanson Web Design

I'm a first-time customer of Chapline Computers and couldn't recommend them more highly. I have a Dell desktop computer that just wouldn't turn on one day.I first called a office supply store down the street who told me that it would take 2-3 days to diagnose the problem which seemed reasonable to me. Then I gave Chapline computers a call. He also told me it would probably be 2-3 days. However he was able to give me a probable diagnosis over the phone with a corresponding cost estimate (under $100). I decided to drop the computer off at Chapline. Instead of the 2-3 day wait I was expecting, he asked me if I had a few minutes, proceeded to take the computer apart and replace the power supply and send me home with a repaired computer 15 minutes later - all for less than $100! As I earn my living using this computer every day, I was extremely happy with this good old-fashioned, excellent customer service. Although I'm sure they can't offer that sort of turnaround time (or price) on most repair jobs I will nevertheless be using them for all my computer repair needs in the future. ...read more

Alex's TV Service(Metro Area)

1.0

I found Alex online and was initially pleased with the speed and professionalism. He was going to repair my Samsung TV. He took the TV with him and returned it within a week at which point I paid him $160 dollars. He said the problem was gone but told us he had a 90 day warranty in case we had any problems. The TV was not fixed at all and although he attempted to fix the TV a couple more times (these times he barely answered his phone), the TV was never fixed and we never received our money back. Instead he sent me a few emails insulting me an my boyfriend and even commented on our personal lives and jobs. I do not recommend Alex to fix your TV. He is in fact highly unprofessional and does not complete the job. ...read more
