HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK! When receiving a quote/estimate from Mr. Grate, he does not figure in permits or cleanup at end of his work. Borough inspector had a list of issues that needed to be repaired. Mr. Grate took on the task and said he would have it done by the due date on the inspection list. When the inspector came to the house, there was a great deal that was not done properly. Mr. Grate acted like he was surprised. We had given ½ money down and he was constantly saying he needed more to pay his workers or get the supplies. Job was to be completed from 2 – 3 month time. It is a year later and it is still NOT done. He was always trying to convince us that we have his word that he will not take advantage of us.
