Weaver Memorials
By Anonymous October 08, 2014
Extremely unsatisfied with the over all service of Weaver Memorials. We were misinformed about so many items, only one issue was corrected; the rest is "our problem". We were told the stone had a 4 inch base with it - when it was delivered to the cemetery there was not a base. Due to the misinformation we asked to purchase a base during their October sale and were told we are unable to do so - this has to be bought with a memorial and can not be applied to a previous purchase. This issue has been on going since their last October sale. ...read more
Home Sweet Home

Very few hours with poor management. When hired your told one thing and another is done. Cases for homecare workers are way out of range you spend more in gas then anything! Can't keep staff so if an emergency comes up and you need off ...forget it.. They want you to be compassionate to the clients but they have no compassion for the employees.... Pay rate is horrible especially if your experienced...paperwork upon hiring is not done professionally either...stay away from this company if you can. ...read more

D E Rosenberry Plumbing & Electrical Service
By MaggieJones June 30, 2014
Wrecked our yard! Didn't separate the topsoil from the bedrock when he dug up the sewer line; left us with a 4 foot high/6 foot wide pile of rocks from the house to the street; destroyed the water line as he replaced the sewer line; damaged the wrought iron railing on our porch; destroyed the drainpipe from our gutter; damaged the siding on the house; destroyed the lightpost and a portion of a rock wall. After a year of calls, he has only made one repair--replaced the terra cotta drainpipe w/pvc. He said he doesn't do landscaping. We had to hire someone to remove the rocks and redo our front yard. Eleven days ago, he promised to fix the lamppost, but he never showed up. Frustrating!!! Sloppy!!! ...read more

Horribly managed by rude and miserable people who are on a power trip. They lied directly to us and tried to scam us out of money. Too many rules and regulations for such a low class complex. They raise your rent every year. Loud and obnoxious neighbors that the management won't do anything about. WAY over priced for what it is. ONLY positive is the maintenance staff. ...read more
Leffler Energy
By mlb2721 April 30, 2014
Just finished my budget for the year and have gotten a bill for $2,000, which has to be settled before a new budget year can begin. Oil was delivered monthly, even when not necessary. I don't understand - if you help people and work with them, they would be more apt to stay with your company. When you lie and cheat them. They say bye-bye. Sorry, losingy business to find a more reputable, FRIENDLY oil provider. ...read more

Linda's Cakery, The Cake Specialty Shop
By Bebe0501 March 13, 2014
I called Linda to see how much a wedding cake was going to be and when she called me back she sounded like I was bothering her. When I asked her how much her basic cake was she stated that she had one that fed 90 people and it was priced at about $500. At that point I very nicely thanked her for her time. She stopped me by saying "wait a minute, wait a minute. Have you gotten quotes for cheaper?" I told her that I had and she than replied "I know you have, but those other people don't know anything about what they're doing. I have 14 years experience." And she continued for a few minutes. Than she stated that if I went with anyone else that it would be cheaper but that my guests would through it away and go home unhappy. I was offended by the way that she was speaking so I informed her that she was being rude and she stated that it didn't matter because I wasn't going to buy a cake from her anyway. I informed her that I may have ordered a cake from her but I wasn't going to even consider it now and she responded with well, I never thought you were going to anyway and she hung up on me. I am amazed and appauled at the way that she conducted herself. I feel like if you are wanting someone to buy your product that you should attempt to sell it in a considerate way, not bully someone into it, I am sure that she does an amazing job and that her cakes are delicous, but after being talked to like that I will not even considering her services. I only gave her a star because it wouldn't allow me to not giver her one. ...read more
The Apartments At Florin Hill
By BudScudd February 10, 2014
Thank you for this FaceBook page. We checked out four apartment complexes in the area. Florin Hill was the only one that *refused* to provide an advance copy of their blank lease which I understand is approximately 20+ pages long (the standard Pennsylvania Association of Realtors rental lease is 6 pages long). As a former realtor, it was my business practice to *always* provide my clients with blank contracts so they could review them in advance. The rental agent stated we could only review the lease a day or so before signing and only after our application fees were paid and we were approved. She went on to claim that their lease is "proprietary" and they didn't want their "competition" to "steal" their lease. Really? Makes you wonder exactly what is in those additional pages and whose interests are being protected. They do make good cookies, though, so I'll give them one star. We're moving in someplace else next week. ...read more
