Thank you for this FaceBook page. We checked out four apartment complexes in the area. Florin Hill was the only one that *refused* to provide an advance copy of their blank lease which I understand is approximately 20+ pages long (the standard Pennsylvania Association o...f Realtors rental lease is 6 pages long). As a former realtor, it was my business practice to *always* provide my clients with blank contracts so they could review them in advance. The rental agent stated we could only review the lease a day or so before signing and only after our application fees were paid and we were approved. She went on to claim that their lease is "proprietary" and they didn't want their "competition" to "steal" their lease. Really? Makes you wonder exactly what is in those additional pages and whose interests are being protected. They do make good cookies, though, so I'll give them one star. We're moving in someplace else next week.
Wonderful Experience at Florin Hill
Interestingly enough, I really don't know what rock these people have crawled out from under! I have lived at the Florin Hill Apartments for going on three years now and have had a really nice experience living there. Yes, the pool should have been larger but if you h...ave a larger pool then you must have a lifeguard. The problem with past apartment dwellers that have left Florin Hill in not so great terms is due to the fact that they just cannot follow the "rules".When you sign that lease agreement you are made aware of the "rules of the community" and one of them is a strict parking policy. If you can't follow it you get towed...it's that simple. I have two vehicles and have never had a problem with the parking restrictions. The people that do are lazy! The community manager has been very easy to deal with and couldn't be nicer - really don't know why someone would call her evil - perhaps that individual needs to look in the mirror at themselves! Great place to live!!!.
Don't Do it! Florin Hill is HORRIBLE!
We are current and former residents of Florin Hill who are fed up with false advertising and horrible management! If they haven't already, they will steal your money.
