Before I bought the car, I had asked about service that is important to have done to the make (subaru) and was told it was done 8,000 miles previous. The car did have an oil leak, and before the warranty ran out, I requested that it be repaired. I was made to pay nearly $500 to have exactly the same repair done that I was told was done 8,000 miles ago. And it took over 2 weeks to do the repair, after I drove the car 25 miles to the garage doing the work. I was lied to, plain and simple......and went without a car for over 2 weeks, and spent a great deal of money to repair something that I was told was taken care of. Bad business practice, lying is. Recently, my three sisters and I started out from Newfoundland, PA to go to up state New York. About an hour into our trip, the transmission went on the vehicle and we four senior citizens were stranded on the side of Interstate 81. We called AAA and they sent out Clark's garage. The gentleman who came to rescue us could not have been kinder. The response time was great and he towed the vehicle back to Newfoundland.
