I would NOT use this center for any service at all. There a documented reports of animals who have been abused, others that have been abused and yet others who have not been given the proper vet care while under the supervision of this center. The reports range from neglect, to breaking of a horses leg, to cutting off the tail hair. I would seriously reccomend NOT letting these people anywhere near an animal. ...read more

Jack Frost Jubilee Winter Show Series Concludes its Best Show Series!

Jack Frost Jubilee Horse Show Series Concludes a Very Successful Show Series! The final show of the 2016-2017 Jack Frost Jubilee Winter Fun Show Series was held at Crescendo Training Centre, LLC in Ephrata, PA on March 12th, 2017. The series raised over $150 for not for profit Greystone Therapeutic Riding Center of Leola, PA.  The series offered many different disciplines including: Dressage and Western Dressage, Showmanship, Western Horsemanship and Pleasure, Ranch Horse Pleasure, Hunter Over Fences, English Equitation and Pleasure, Games and Gymkhana. The series included one show per month, November through March. This was the largest show series ever held at Crescendo Training Centre, LLC. Many of the shows had so many entries that we ran 2 ½ hours worth of dressage rides on Saturday afternoon to accommodate all the exhibitors. March’s show sported a total of 266 entries with 44 horses, 49 riders, 58 dressage rides, 71 hunter over fences entries, 52 Gymkhana/game rides and a total of 85 regular class entries.   Sponsors/advertisers that made the series possible are: Radene Gordon-Beck, Ephrata Agway, Sarah DuClos Dressage, Law Office of Tamara Hogan, Long’s Chiropractic, Chesapeake Enterprises, Linda Manwiller and Hess Mills, A Purina Dealer. Next Season’s Series will begin in November of 2017.   Thanks to the following volunteers for making the show run well: Terry Grogan, Ginny Myers, Beth Dinich, Brooke Keeney, Natalie Zeamer, Tracy Stroscein, Nancy Longenbach, Judy Rutt, Lesli Binford and Rebecca Richard. Next Horse Show in Series to be held January 22nd to Benefit Greystone

The next show of the Jack Frost Jubilee Fun Show Series brought to you by Crescendo Training Centre of Ephrata, PA is in the final planning stages! Shows were held on November 20 and December 11, 2016. To date, over $30 in raffle tickets have been sold to benefit Greystone Manor Therapeutic Riding Center in Leola, PA.   Our Sponsors that make this series possible are: Gold Sponsor; The Barnes and Beck Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors,Silver Sponsors: Ephrata Agway and Tamara Hogan Attorney at Law,Bronze Sponsor:    Other advertisers and sponsorsinclude Hess Mills,  Chesapeake Enterprises and Long’s Chiropractic.   November’s show featured a large turnout along with the nasty weather.  Forty four horses were shown by Fifty one riders.  There were a total of seventy one Dressage rides scheduled and sixty one Hunter Over Fences rounds and sixty one gymkhana goes.  Amanda Krall of Lebanon, PA was the judge for the dressage and Alexis Clelan-Liskey of Newmanstown, PA judged the main ring and Hunter Over Fences Division.  They both did a great job and we heard many positive comments about their judging throughout the day.  December’s show featured a large show on a colder day.   Forty three horses were exhibited by forty-five riders.  There were a total of sixty four dressage rides, seventy two Hunter Over Fences rounds and fifty one Gymkhana goes.
