My family has been going to BFC for 6 and a half years. I have had 3 docs but all have left shortly after establishing a relationship. Most of the time you just get sent to a specialist anyway. So many docs have left now that the don't make appts (even for long time patients) until the beginning of each work day when everyone must call at 8 am and try to grab oen of the day's appts. You get who you get. I'm done. Now to get a new doc somewhere nearby I must provide my medical records before they will make an appt and BFC only copies once a week and charges $1.39 a page! For 4 of us for 6 1/2 years is a small fortune. Why don't they use their constant "converting to computerized records" and just zapp them over to the new doc? They are the only docs in Douglassville and will manage to chain you to them any way they can. We're screwed. ...read more

I just left the doctors and I am bothered by the lack of bedside manner. I have a family history of stokes and high blood pressure after having my blood pressure read twice it was borderline high. I was told it is the beginning stages of hyper tension and the Doctor just blew it off. My resting heart rate was 102 and was told its just a little bad. I haven't seen a doctor in two years and was told thats good. I'm 42 years old and I know i should go once a year. It probably helps them to keep their schedule clear.
