This inspection company is absolutely horrible. Once you actually are able to get through to Toni to schedule an inspection, you should automatically schedule the follow up inspection. The main reason for this is because the inspector, Steve, will do everything in his power to fail the first inspection. I don't think there was anything he passed on the first look. He doesn't know the code and if he thinks something is wrong he will head back to the office to look in the code until he can find something. Maybe he is looking for me to offer him a bribe. I'm "expletive" at the township for making HMT my only choice and HMT only has one inspector that can do all the inspections. This is what I was told when I asked for a different inspector. It is ridiculous that HMT has cornered the market for building inspections in SW PA and yet they can't offer a quality service. I have complained to MT.
