Long time customer, went to take 6 year old son for haircut and barber shop was full. I was pressed for time and went over to Fantastic Sam's. What a mistake! My son had the WORST haircut ever in his 6 years of life. Should've known better and should've waited to go to Great Southern Barber Shop where I knew it would've been done to my satisfaction - perfection. The few dollars saved at Fantastic Sam's was not worth the 4 weeks it took to grow out and not worth the arguing I had to do with the hairstylist there who didn't seem to care what I wanted for his haircut. Went up to the Great Southern Shopping center looking for Big Lots and found the Great Southern Barbershop. I got an expert haircut (the way I wanted it cut, not a generic hair cut), They cut everyone's hair and have a lady that does color it you need it. AFull Service Barbershop, where you can get an old fashioned haircut as well as a style type doo. J.R. did a great job on my hair cut. I am a little fussy on the way I get my hair cut and he asked me how I liked it cut and did exactly what I asked. Definitely my barbershop of the future. ...read more
