Wills & Estate Planning Update
Hello dear friend(s), how are youtoday? Welcome to our practice. Do you have a Will? If you do, when was the last time you reviewed it for updates&changes; in your life? If you don't, then, you need to let me help you get this order of business taken care of for you ASAP. A Testamentary Will tells the world how you want all your worldly possessions distributed after your death. And don't forget to leave a bequest to your church and/or favorite charities. On the other hand, a Living Will tells the world how you want your health care administered should you experience a catastrophic illness or injury. Do you want to be kept alive by machines& artificial means if there is no hope of recovery? You must instruct your family, doctors&other health care providers what your wishes & desires are. Remember the infamous Terry Shifvo case? She was in a comma for several years due to an automobile accident. The doctors said there was no hope for recovery. A great court battle ensued because her parents wanted her to be kept alive no matter what. But, her husband felt because she was in a vegetative state with no hope of recovery & the medical costs had rendered his family destitute, that the best &most honorable thing to do was to pull the plug, so to speak & let her pass on peacefully. So tell me, how do you feel? What would you want your family & doctors to do if you were in this situation? This is why you need a Living Will.Additionally, if you are severely incapacitated, how will you handle your financial affairs? With a "Power of Attorney" you can designate an appropriate, trusted person to step up & handle your personal financial matters until you are again able to do so for yourself. So a Living Will, a Testamentary Will, & a Power of Attorney are 3 critical steps you need to take to be sure your estate planning is up to date & tells the world just how you want your personal & financial affairs handled. So don't delay , contact metoday! Let me help you get your Estate Planning Affairs in order. I'm here to help. Hugs, peace & blessings. Rev. Dr. Dawne A. Casselle, Esq., . 1330 S.
