My left leg was amputated as a result of a motorcycle accident. I have been with 3 other artificial limb providers and didn't know how great a proper fit and down to earth personalized service could be until I found these guys. I am extremely active and over the past years with Oregon Artificial Limb my activities have become greater and more frequent. If you are looking for increased mobility and people that take an interest in you and your quality of life, you can't do better than these folks. It's easy to get an appointment and they handled all of my insurance stuff. All they leave to me is to go out and enjoy life in more comfort than I had previously known. Whether I'm biking, hiking, backpacking or climbing, people are always surprised at the level of my agility. If I am dressed in long pants, you wouldn't even know I use a prosthetic device. Horrible. Simply Horrible. IF you show up there at 4, and expect help, go ahead and plan on being constantly told where the door is and that it is close to 5, when it is quitting time. They will let you know constantly that quitting time is at 5, they go into pre quit mode about 4, They will flat out tell you in no uncertain terms that your business is unimportant and inconsequential, and will let you know that you are an inconvinience . If you want good service , you better show up at about 3, so you can get it by 4, otherwise, good customer service stops at 4 sharp. then , if you call to complain about how you are treated, (i got this same experience 4 times there, due to time of day i could get off and get in the clinic) they will stand firm, let you know again verbally that you are not important, and your business means nothing, and will tell you to go elsewhere as a customer. All I know is, today, an African American driver with Oregon plates T564162 in a great big Cintas truck nearly hit my vehicle and went on to do the same with many others, swerving in and out of various lanes of traffic causing everyone to brake suddenly. We just moved from the hillsdale area to the Murray hill area , in these last couple weeks. We ventured into the murray and allen Rite aid, and could not beleive the difference in staff! We have been customers at the hillsdale Rite Aid for over 8 yrs . After the poor service and yucky attitudes at our new neighborhood murray location, we have decided we wil go out of our way to continue to use the hillsdale location. The staff is outgoing , friendly and over all genuine about the great service they give there customers! Cheers to Gregg, Charlie, Tim , Tonya and all the rest of the staff at the hillsdale RiteAID! A couple of years ago I was involved in an auto accident that had given me a lot of back pain. Unfortunately, I tried physical therapy as my last resort. My therapist, Ben taught me a lot of exercises to strengthen my core and back, which helped me rid of the pain. We started slowly with simple exercises and after a few weeks my back was getting stronger and the pain was going away! I hurt my back very badly at had to go to the emergency room. Could not stand, had to walk on knees. \t\n\t\nAfter hospital treatment (haven't been to a doctor in 20 years) I hobbled to the Fred Meyer Pharmacy on Barbur. They prescribed pain meds, muscle relaxers (Viocodin) and something for the constipation it causes.\t\n\t\nFirst off, if you are wanting pain meds there they treat you like a druggie and grill you! I am a 40+ businessman, not Marilyn Manson. Morons!\t\n\t\nAnyway, these idiots lose my prescription while I am waiting/shopping! I go to pick it up and they don't know who I am. I even ask the bimbo - don't you remember me from 45 mins ago?? You grilled me about the Viodin warnings?? You brought that Pharmacist over to talk to me about it? No, never seen you before!!\t\n\t\nSo, I tried to go with Advil because it was late and had the most painful night of my life. Torture.
