I responded to a scooter ad in the private party for sale section of craigslist. Now carter mere is stalking and harassing me in endless obscene hate emails and taunting me to come down to his work (Columbia scooters on mlk). Is this how employees should attract coustomers? Just moved to Portland and some friends said I should check next adventure out. It was a really cool place with a lot of stuff. They have an awesome basement with used stuuff to. Many unique items I couldnt find anywhere else. The only issue I could see was the really high prices on new items. I understand because the store is unique, but don't go unless you can spend $$. 04/20/2011... Who knew? The demand for hats inspired by the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton caught us quite by surprise. Turns out that many locals were hosting Royal Wedding Parties in their homes to watch the ceremony on the 'telly', and were dressing accordingly. Big hats, tea and cake... the 'whole shebang'! Fortunately, the Bright Yellow House had just acquired a large selection of fancy, wide-brimmed hats in preparation for our many Kentucky Derby clients, so we had plenty of hats to meet the unexpected demand of two major events, back-to-back. Speaking of the Kentucky Derby we had 6 hats 'there', and another couple dozen or so at local KD parties. We even had one on Millionaires' Row... our sixth consequtive year to be represented at the Louisville, Kentucky segment of the Triple Crown. While Winter has just barely begun, hat designer/maker Lori is already in the process of creating her new 2011 Spring/Summer line, with a special emphasis on what are commonly referred to as 'Kentucky Derby' or 'Church' hats. Generally wide-brimmed and highly decorated these hats are normally a little 'over the top' and as such are generally worn only for special occasions... think 'Easter Parade' and 'Hat Day' at the horse races.
