How to Find Summer Shoes for Your Feet

How to Select Shoes to Wear With Suits

Dressing your best is something that many people choose to do frequently. This is a good idea because you only have one chance to make a first impression. It is important that the shoes that you decide to wear with your suit coordinate well or that first impression may not be what you would like.

  1. Decide on a color for your shoe. It is important that the color of the shoe that you choose coordinates with your suit. If you don't have shoes that are the same color of your suit, you can choose some that will match. For example, wearing black shoes with a blue suit is generally not acceptable.

  2. Determine what style shoe you will need. If you will be on your feet for a long time, you will want to choose a shoe that will not make your feet hurt. Making sure that it has support for your feet can help with this problem.

  3. Consider purchasing a basic black pump. It can be your best friend as it will coordinate with most suits. The main thing to consider when you are purchasing pumps is the height of the heel. Some people are very comfortable wearing a heel all day long, while others simply do not enjoy heels at all.

  4. Plan ahead when heading to purchase your shoes. It is important to consider how many pairs of shoes you feel that you will need. Set a plan and stick to it. One can usually survive with just a couple of pairs of shoes to wear with their suits for working.

  5. Invest in quality shoes. Choosing quality shoes can not only help to keep your feet feel comfortable after wearing them regularly, but can also help the shoes to last a longer period of time. While it may be more investment up front, they will likely last longer than a cheaper pair would last which can save you money in the long run.

  6. Consider repairing your shoes instead of purchasing new ones if possible. This can not only save you money, but because your shoes are already molded to your feet, they will be more comfortable for you than breaking in a new pair of shoes all over again.
