I've been going to Pet Loft for years, and I highly recommend it to all my friends with pets. They have an excellent selection of limited-ingredient foods for pets with allergies, and have made some great recommendations over the years - everything from grooming products, toys, food, and general health care. I've seen the same staff members for years, and every one of them is knowledgeable, friendly, and always helpful. \t\n Pet Loft is also active in the local community, raising funds for a local feral cat association and adoption of local dogs. I just brought my sick puppy into Portland Animal Clinic and I feel so much better. I spent the whole day worrying about my little girl and I finally couldn't take it. Although I did not call ahead, I found the staff very friendly, knowledgeable and accomidating. They immediately anwsered my questions and began to care for my baby. It turns out I was worrying about a lot of nothing, but the staff and Doctor did not make me feel silly. Also as a first time client I got a kit that was probabally worth about $30 at the end of my appointment. It had Advantage and a sample of Science Diet to name a few items. I went to Cat-n-doggie-do's for the first time today. I took My Pom Poo Ricky. I found them to be top rated on the hair cut. My dog was comfortable there when I picked him up. Because he is little and usually shakes, but he was so happy. They are very friendly, cost are the same as other shops in the area. But the people make the difference and they are all great. Fleas This year has already been an especially bad year for us regarding fleas. I tried to rid my cats of fleas by using a chemical that you apply to the back of their neck. I was devastated when they both became ill and began losing their hair due to that chemical. I wasn’t sure what else to do for them at that point, because I didn’t want to make them more ill. Now, not only were the fleas still there, but they had also spread into the house. On top of that, my husband, daughter, and granddaughter are all allergic to them. I kept trying different natural products, but didn’t have any luck. After a lot of frustration and even more money spent, I still had the problem. Finally, I came across dba N.O.G.C. products. I spoke with Sheryl Lobdell and asked her for something to help diminish our flea problem. She was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! I purchased the Pet Powder and also the All Purpose Granule. I spread the Granules in each room of my house and left them there for seven days, and then vacuumed them up. Then in a day or two I spread them again and let them set for another three days before vacuuming it up. In addition, I bathed and powdered the cats with the Pet Powder. And now….no more fleas!!!! This is the only product that works. My parents had an old dog that had urinated all over the carpet. This product removed old and new stains.
