The New Life Text  uses a unique copyrighted limited vocabulary.  No difficult words are used in the text except proper names and places.  Short sentences are used with the subject usually preceding the predicate - a great help to problem or new readers.  Many paragraphs are preceded with captions which summarize the content. Most words are limited to one meaning - a must for problem or new readers and people learning English as a second language!  Example: To read "Paul stood before the court" could mean that Paul stood up first, then the court stood up. The New Life Version can be read by second grade children, and yet does not insult the intelligence of well educated adults.
