I've had periodontal problems, severe gum recession, for several decades. My home care didn't result in much improvement, no matter how hard I tried. Luckily my dentist referred me in 2015 to Dr. Chou. Within a few months, my gums improved dramatically thanks to 1) his meticulous treatments and 2) detailed instructions on home care by his outstanding staff. Dr. Chou recommended gum tissue grafts to alleviate problems caused by recession. However, I was very reluctant. Ten years earlier in another city, I'd had tissue grafts that failed. Over time I grew convinced Dr. Chou was the right periodontist—the one who would succeed where others had failed.. To date I've had two procedures, and both went great! The pain I experienced was minimal. Dr. Chou's work is meticulous, effective, and state-of-the-art. He, and his staff, are caring individuals who ensured my comfort every step of the way.
