Sonoma Grande is unsafe - the security gates rarely work and when they don't they are just held open, which allows anyone to enter. There are also a lot of "thug like" people there and I don't want my kids in areas with drug use. Most of the residents there are extremely rude and loud - Yelling, loud noises, and loud music is the norm. Trash is an issue as well. It seems like people don't know where the dumpster is, so they just leave it in outside their doors where it piles up, smells, and animals get into it! And, speaking of animals, beware of all the pet waste. It is everywhere, which means my children cant play in the grass because it is so gross! These apartments do have potential though and COULD be great. I think management just needs to be stricter and perhaps rent needs to be increase if these problems cant be taken care of with the current pricing. But, it is also not all of managements fault. I make sure my children (I have 2 boys) are quiet when inside. We wear house shoes and running and jumping is not allowed since we live on the 3rd floor.
