I have used regular Non Prepaid Legal Attorneys before I signed up for a Prepaid Legal Plan. Being a prior business owner and dealing with multiple issues from contracts, to collections, to liability issues, divorce, custody, traffic tickets I've used the plan multiple times with great success. Only 2x in 10 years did they NOT call me back. I re-inquired with them why and I found out their computer systems had a power/outage/crashed about the time when I made my calls in. In contract my non Prepaid Legal Attorneys who I was paying $250-$350 for prior to 1998, sometimes took a week or more to return my calls, and they charged me for EVERY little thing I asked them about. I can call PPL 100x in a month for the same fee. Some months I feel like I have used them 100's of times. If I could rate them based on price / value / service i'd give them a 9.0 out of 10. No other NON PPL attorney every got higher than a 5/10 in my book. ...read more
