My daughter got married at the Tulsa Event Center on 6/21 - Absolutely the worst experience with them!! To start with that were changing this up until the Tuesday before the event - as to the vendors we could use. We were over charged and when they credited the funds back they credited the wrong card. The event center was not set up when we arrived to decorate - of which we were told it would be. There was no A/C - yep that is correct no A/c until 2 hours before the event is to start. They say they do not control the A/C - it is controlled by Clear Channel - so there was nothing they could do. They did manage to get it turned on early - but we had completed our decorating at that point. The room we used for the Bridal party to get ready in had no A/c either - the compressor went out and they did not bother to notify us ahead of time so we had to bring fans from home to keep the room cool enough to get ready in.Too many other issues - such as customer service. ...read more

Throwing around terms like agile and waterfall, along with other terms, to describe ‘the proper way to manage a software development effort’ prove that one can read. But, does it really guarantee the success of a project? While the processes described by many of these theories have their place, the various aspects of a project must be taken into consideration before jumping on the bandwagon with a single methodology and blindly following. Some of these aspects include the culture of an organization, the tools available, the technical acumen of a team, and the audience (business or technical) being engaged.
