WORST INSTRUCTORS ON THE PLANET!!! Not sure how this is a school, or where the "instructors" came from. Very unprofessional and lazy (instructors). I called and made an APPOINTMENT and was scheduled with a stylist, only to get there and have the "instructor" tell me, with no regret, that the stylist was already gone. (Didn't get her name, but she wasn't very tall, had short hair, tattoos all over her arms, really bad roots and a bad attitude. Anyway, back to the experience. Not offering an explanation, I simply responded, "OK?" Her response, "Yeah.. I don't know who scheduled you, but ____ left and they're not supposed to schedule people past 4:30." (Again, not my problem) My response again, "OK???" She proceeded to tell me that they "were going to call me back but whoever scheduled it didn't get a number". Not so sure this is true, but at this point it's certainly irrelevant. I decided to give up on an educated or apologetic explanation, so I decided to try for a solution. Complete failure. After having to ASK the question, "so what should I do?" SEVERAL times, it was clear that the instructor had one goal: to get me out of her hair. No pun intended. This was the second bad experience I've had with this place. The first time, all the students scattered like roaches when I tried to get highlights (for long hair). I guess bad leadership rubs off. Eventually, the student working the front desk got so frustrated with everyone leaving her out to dry, that she volunteered to do it herself. When she needed help (as she was obviously very new), the instructors acted as though it was a bother to help her. I felt bad for the student. She took her time, though, and she did the best that she could. But she was taking too long for the instructors (it was the end of the day and they wanted to go home) so an instructor (short with long, dark hair, also bad attitude) came over and told her that she was going to do the trim for the student, not leaving her a choice. Yet, the instructor wouldn't help her when she needed it. Well, I would've rather had the student finish my trim because the instructor spent about 5 minutes with me before she decided I was done. Just terrible all the way around. BAD BUSINESS. ...read more
