The apartment manager Kay is the biggest crook I've ever met. She completely took advantage of us. We paid a $300 deposit, $100 which is nonrefundable for cleaning on their part. She had pictures of "damages" we were being charged for. She took a picture of the apartment numbers outside of our door trying to state we damaged those because they were faded. She had pictures of a hard water deposit inside one of the toilet bowls that she considered damage. Also a picture of 1 tile in our bathroom where the grout needed to be resealed, considering that damage we caused. She charged us $75 for cleaning, even though $100 of our deposit was supposed to be kept for cleaning. $40 to steam clean the carpets that we left in perfect condition. My roommate lived there a year before me and at the end of her lease I moved in with her and we started a new lease. I was not given a lease agreement that stated the carpets needed to be steam cleaned. I have copies of everything I signed and was given when I moved in. When we moved out, we were given a list of "Cleaning requirements to receive deposit refund". On that list it stated "vacuum carpets". Not STEAM clean carpets, otherwise we would have done that. So on top of keep the $100 non refundable part of our deposit, we were charged $75 for cleaning, $40 for carpet cleaning, and the rest was kept for the so called "damages" that would technically be considered normal wear and tear. Aside from that issue, the maintenance is terrible and the complex is run down. We had issues with our air conditioner not working properly and contacted maintenance more than once and they never did anything about it. We finally contacted them for a 3rd or 4th time and told them we wanted to be in the apartment with them when they came to watch them fix the problem ourselves. The problem was then fixed right in front of us. The walls are paper thin. If you live on the first floor, good luck sleeping. It sounds like the people living above you are going to fall through the ceiling because the floors are so squeaky. Overall, TERRIBLE experience and again, Kay is a crook. Country club Apts. Has lazy poor maintenance and they are bed bug ridden and they don't do anything to get rid of them. The management Pierre and Cathy lie constantly to there tents and future tenants. They also charge each tenant different rent from the others. They embezzle money. And the apt. By Pierre a couple doors down the floor caved in due to sink hole that swallowed the ice box kitchen sink and stove its 6 ft. Deep and the tenants were still living in apt. Last Friday 17th. This place needs code enforcement its falling apart. And they don't prorate tenants rent right. The owner of these Apts. Has not paid his taxes in excess of over 170,000 and is to be auctioned off July 8th. They don't clean the apartments or steam clean the Apts. They lied to the health department. And there are cops here every single day harrassing the tenants. A neighbor moved in and had his car in the parking lot less then 24 hrs. And the management had it towed off by arrow wrecker service.
