We rented their Seidel Pkwy, Piqua location. The apartment was nice, however much of the staff, not so much. It was very spacious. The neighborhood, mostly other apartments, had many loud parties late into the night throughout the summer. Trash from those parties always seemed to end up on our patio. Late in the summer there was an officer involved shooting with a crazed pit bull. They outsourced the emergency repair line to a separate company, which caused us to go without a stove to feed our children through the holidays. The church across the street is extremely busy on Sundays, making traffic on the street slightly chaotic. During the school year, mornings and afternoons, high school students would race through the neighborhood. I didn't feel it was safe for our children. The last and worse issue we had was specifically with the lessor. They only seemed to care about getting the next months rent and not truly about the tenants. That was most evident when the apartment looked better and cleaner when we moved out than when we moved in, and we still lost a large portion of our security deposit. They told us that the charges were for them to clean items that were spotless when we vacated the apartment. It felt like they essentially robbed us to make some more money. I really loved my time living here. I moved here from out of state, and this was my first apartment in Ohio. The office staff made the cross country leasing process SO simple, and even let me move in a day early when I arrived sooner than expected. The office staff make an effort to get to know their residents and never make you feel like a visitor when you need to step in or call the office, like some complexes do. They're really pretty awesome! The apartments themselves are very nice, the grounds are well maintained, and in the winter the drives were always salted and taken care of. I didn't have very many issues in my unit, but whenever I did the maintenance staff was on it. I couldn't have been happier with my stay here, and I would highly recommend leasing here with Heather Green West Apartments (First Troy Corp)!! I checked out those Towne Park Apartments in Troy before leasing with First Troy and I did not like the fact that the unit showed to me I would have had someone living above and below me.
