With summer right around the corner, our friends at Simmons Landscape offer these irrigation tips: 1. A rain sensor is an absolute necessity for responsible watering. This device will turn the sprinkler system off if we have enough rain, and allow it to come back on when we have had enough drying. 2. After watering if you have wet spots in your yard, first check the operation of that zone for a leak, and if there is none, reduce the amount of run time to eliminate the wet area. 3. On a regular basis, once a month, run through the sprinkler system to be sure that turning heads are turning, and that all heads are operating properly.
