Buyers Beware! They have an auto renewal contract, and it’s not month to month after the initial contract is up. It is the same as your initial contract was signed; at least in my case there wasn't a month to month! Plus, they make it extremely hard to talk to the person that deals with the contracts because they deal in support tickets. So, if you ask a representative of the company if your contract is up, they can see that it is, but will have to have someone else call you back to verify and in our case after many calls and months of trying “NO ONE” called back. When we asked how to terminate the service we were told we needed a 30 day notice which a form was to be filled out and mailed through certified mail. Still at that time, “NO ONE” stated or called to verify and say that we were still in contract because of an AUTO RENEWAL clause. This company to us, seems like they look only at the bottom-line and it’s all about the numbers to them. And since they did not contact us about our contract being up and what was going to happen next and we were already 2 years in, we were ignorant in remembering that our contract had this clause. OUR BAD! So “jackpot” for OBN as they get 1-half of what is remains on your contract and they didn’t have to do anything but send a screen shot of the termination screen from their computer in regular mail that came a day after they took the money from our account. OBN has made us jump through hoops in order to leave their service, and the whole time NO one said anything about an AUTO RENEWAL. So this is what I say to you if you decide to go with this company. Ask the question "How hard is it going to be to leave your company if I am not satisfied with your service?” and then get it in writing. And read your contract, keep a reminder on your phone or computer as to when you need to put your notice of cancelation through because they will not tell you they will not answer calls about canceling (at least you will not get to talk to the person that has anything to do with the information you need for cancelling, well you might, but WE DID NOT) and I tried for MONTHS before getting tired and just called and asked how to cancel!" Now we wouldn’t have to write this bad review if this company had communicated the auto renew clause more effectively. Or if the contract just would've went month-to-month agreement after the initial contract. The e-commerce service they provided was “ok”, they would never have gotten a 5 star rating from us. But, they wouldn’t have gotten a complaint about their normal day to day service either if they were more of a company that cared or worked with the customers they had. ...read more
Anchor Home Inspection of NW Ohio

Rob Nusbaum recently did a home inspection for me on a house I am buying. I called after 5pm the day before a holiday expecting to get voicemail and was caught a bit off guard when he actually answered. He was able to schedule it promptly. He was there on time and allowed me to stay for the whole inspection. He answered my questions and even encouraged them. He pointed out many things that I never even noticed the first two times I was shown the house. He got up on the roof, into the attic, basement, every room, the garage and the outside of the house. He was very thorough. I received the completed reports (I also had a radon test done) the very next day. The reports gave me a lot of information. Buying a house is the biggest purchase of my life and I can now go forward with confidence, and even some solid info that could possibly allow me to negotiate an even better price...?
