I needed to find a great place for my son and I, and I found it!. I have been looking at places for a while and I am definitely happy that I chose Maple Oaks. They worked around my schedule,they stayed late so I could look at an apartment(no other apartment manager would!) Now that I am all moved in I know I will be here for a long time. On Monday June 21 I called Me. Sullivan to verify she would be in the office at 5:30 pm. The first call just rang with no answer, the second time Ms. Sullivan did pick-up and when I announced myself over the phone she was less than cordial and said "I'm with a customer". Well, when I initially signed up she took calls, but never made that comment. Secondly when I arrived to the office the door was again lock (always locked even when they are there). She calmly stated she would draw a letter to the agreement of 30 days notice without penalty. I said "OK". Ms Sullivan then stated in a condescending voice, "I'm sorry we could not meet your needs". I told her I did not wish to engage in any type of confrontation. She then said, "Yea, well we did everything you asked and that was still not good enough. I just moved in at Maple Oaks mid-November and I'm very pleased with my apartment-it's much bigger than most two bedrooms! Yes, the walls are a little thin, but not any worse than other places I've lived. The manager is very nice, and she was willing to work with me to pay the deposit in increments so I would have some money for Christmas. When I called about a problem it was fixed within a few days.
