My husband had an appointment for a FIRST visit with this provider for Diverticulitis. The day BEFORE his appointment, we realized we would not have enough gas to make it all the way to the medical office and back home again. As a result, my husband called to RESCHEDULE his appointment and explained that it was due to NO GAS IN THE CAR. He requested that they call back to reschedule the appointment. Today we received a letter rudely telling us that we must not care about our health care RELATIONSHIP but that the as of yet NON-EXISTENT relationship is being SEVERED. Meaning my husband is being REFUSED MEDICAL CARE due to our cancelling a medical appointment with 24 hours notice for legitimate financial reasons. Not only is this ridiculous and absurdly ego maniacal on the part of this physician and his staff, but since we have been told that he is the ONLY Gastroenterologist in the area, it effectively means that this Dr. is denying my husband the right to medical care period. ...read more
