My Mother was admitted to The Manor at Whitehall begining of Dec. She had many areas of care that needed addressed. She was wanting to get well in time for Christmas so she could be home for the holiday. The Staff was extremily kind from the moment we got there. Her room was clean. Mom loved that she had her own shower in her room. most places use a common area. Her therapists were so good that they got her strong enough to come home in time for christmas! Not even her Doctor could beleive it. The best part of it all was mom visited the staff she became friends with on christmas day to give them a card and cookies she had made! This room was dirty when my family member checked in. I asked twice to have the bathroom and toilet cleaned from the previous resident... The PCA must really be underpaid because they have NO personality whatsoever. It's an unfriendly place, and they are not helpful. I requested the therapist have someone call me, she said she would, nothing. I would never put a family member in this place again. Thank goodness she gets out of there in a few days!! ...read more

My Grandma lives here at the assisted living and we feel that the staff has become an extension of her family.
