Why does eating healthy, cable, and utilities have to cost a lot? Find out how to save money on these services today! Yes it is possible to save allot of money each month, and place the money to work for you. I know, no one wants to cut back, but what if that meant having all the money you wanted to have when you retired? I am sure you wouldn’t enjoy working at Wal-Mart? I bet you rather traveling the world? In fact little cut backs does not have to feel so bad, if you’re improving your health, and have more energy to enjoy life. I used whole food which means food that is being not processed. Things like fruits and vegetables, brown rice, whole wheat, whole grains. So, I am not a professional cook, but I can give you some ideas what to cook. For example, I make a baked spaghetti, which I used whole wheat pasta, and used glassed pasta sauce, also place some peppers and onions, to increase the vegetables amount, and placed shredded cheese on top. You first cook the pasta, let them be little firm, and mix the pasta and sauce, in a bowl, and add your choice of vegetables. Place into a casserole dish, and place 2 cups cheese on top, and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. This makes an inexpensive meal, easy to cook, and I cook enough to last for a week to the next few days. I usually cook once or twice week. This cut down on the utilities cost, and save time. I also recommend shopping at a discount grocery store, like Aldi or Save-A-Lot. I also use brown rice dish, wear I used 4 cups of brown uncooked (less if you do not have more people), cook it the brown rice, use small amount of salt. You can used either 2 can of cream celery soup or place 2 jar of salsa, once again place additional vegetables if you use the cream of celery soup, I place frozen mixed vegetables, in the case of the salsa I would use 1 can of black beans which is a good source of protein. Place in a bowl, and add your choice of vegetables and mix the content together. Place into a casserole dish, and place 2 cups cheese on top, and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. I also would cook some meat in addition if would like. Now, unfrozen whole chicken, can be placed in a crock pot and cooked with just adding some salt and pepper, or any other spices you would like. I know that chicken breast is better for you, but if money is any issue, this is a great way to save cost. If we take the health benefits compared to processed food, this is much better for your health. There is always the local library or the web for cost effective healthy cooking ideas. For the saving on utilities, you can go from a variable rate for gas or power, and can be converted this to a fix rate, it depends on your area, but in some cases you can save up to 20%. www.aepretailenergy.com, www.whitefence.com, www.igsenergy.com Now to save on cable, you have to give up your cable, and will need to use a hybrid system or off the air channels, and internet services like hulu plus or Netflix. Now there is the Boxee TV is similar to the Tivo, which has a virtual dvr for only $9.99 per month in select areas. Now if you do not need the DVR, you can get the Roku which has no monthly service charge, expect for the Hulu plus and Netflix. For this system, you will need to use internet provider, the only way to save on the internet is to keep change your carrier when a new promotional rate is being offered. Another idea is to share your wi-fi signal with some lives near you. You can agree to pay part of their bill in exchanged letting you use their service, and their access code.
