Kerbler & Co.

1.0

By Dan Payne at Citysearch

From a home owners perspective, I was refered to Kerbler. I will never use them again for the following reason.\t\nI was told on the phone I would receive same day service if I brought my screen door over.\t\nI brought it to the shop and ther said one week (5 working days). I called after 8 working days and it was not completed. I asked for a return call when completed and a lady on the phone said she would call me. After 3 weeks I called about the screen door and a man said it was done. I asked what was done and he said two rollers were replaced and screen replaced.\t\n\t\nMy origional request was to make a whole new door or at the least change all 4 rolers. The only good aspect was the new screen job which I can easily do myself.\t\n\t\nI put the screen door up and it does not work any better than it did with the old rolers (That is why I wanted a whole new door).\t\n\t\nNot only is the end result very poor, the 4 people I spoke with during the 3 weeks wore thier "blue coller" mentality very well (will not take responsibility for the poor customer service or the lies I was told about timeliness and completition). When a company representative tells me they are to busy to finish my screen door, you must be makeing $$ hand over fist (but I know that is not the case with this company)\t\n\t\nBased off a couple other reviews, this organization caters better to the larger customer, not the "off the street" customer. A one star rating is much to generous.\t\n\t\nI now have a door that will not work and I am $60.00 in the hole. I hope the owner/president or someone that can take responsibility for the companies service and product, will read this review ...read more

Meineke Car Care Center

By meineke is the worst at Citysearch

I have never been treated more rudely than at this Meineke location. I brought my van in for them to change the alternator, and the next day I broke down on the side of 270 with my five kids in the car. When I called Meineke they were arrogant and rude to me, never apologizing and Jim admitted they didn't even test the van or part after they put the alternator on. I had the van towed in and guess what? bad alternator. My husband and I pointed out that they didn't even look over the car and do an inspection and Jim said it would cost us $90 to have them look at it. However as I was standing in the office, Jim told two other customers problems they had with THEIR cars and they did NOT pay $90. they paid $20 for an oil change and I paid $429.32!!! I called another Meineke location and they told me if i brought my car in for an alternator they do a FREE courtesy inspection. So Meineke replaced the alternator and it broke down again!!!!! My husband called Meineke saying we want our money back to take it somewhere else and we were told the general manager would call us back and he never has. I also called and left a detailed message and my call was never returned. We gave them both out cell phone numbers. Poor parts and rude service for $429.32 I can't believe it and I intend to let everyone know to watch out! ...read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS JUNK YARD, they sold me a 1000.00 dollar transmission, after my mechanic inspected it he explained all the problems. First of all nearly every sensor was cracked or broken, the fluid was completley black with small fragments inside, and finally the main seal was deformed and leaking fluid. When i tried to return the part the tried to tell me everything was fine and to put it in and see what happens, when i refused and demanded my money back they got hostile with me. They took $250.00 dollers of my hard earned money for a restocking fee. This is a horriable establishment and unless you like giving people money for trash i would stay far far away ...read more
