My mother has been in and out of a nursing home for the last ten years. She has gone through so many medical issues; it has been hard to keep up with her medical care. Our most recent doctor recommended that she be allowed to be discharged, but that we hire someone to come in and administer her medicine. I was weary of this idea at first because I love my mom and I wanted the best for her.
