After paying him, we discovered that the work was not as complete as he had indicated, and the “complete” work was done poorly.Our contractual terms had not been fulfilled.He did not return that week or any week after that.We sent him an email that included pictures of the work that still needed to be done since he would not come to our house to discuss it.He responded to our requests to return to the house with multiple excuses for the delay including an exaggeration of how long the weather had been bad and his involvement in a more important project.He would frequently schedule for a day to come and then not show up and not reschedule unless we called him and insisted.Instead of offering us professional work, he behaved as though he were some kind of friend doing us a favor.That is when it was clear that we had been robbed.
