Olympic Garage

This is the WORST place to park in downtown Cincinnati. The employees are rude and unprofessional. I parked down there for a meet-up over lunch. I parked at 11:58. After my lunch, I walked back into the garage, said hello to the gentleman who was sitting on the bench as I walked in. He was in a striped shirt, started standing up, but said nothing. Behind the cashier glass there were 2 men in red shirts, one of whom parked my car when I dropped it off. I put my ticket through the window and it sat on the counter, the 2 men in red give me blank stares and then walk out from behind the partisan. Meanwhile "Dave" (name on his striped shirt) took his sweet time getting behind the glass, and stamping my ticket. When he punched the ticket, we were 1 minute over. 11:58-12:59, He charged us for 2 full hours. If he would have been prompt and delivered GOOD (good- not even great) Customer Service, taken my tag and stamped it when I walked in. I would have only been charged for 1 hour. Because he took his time, and no one else helped me when I was in the garage, I had to pay an additional $2! NEVER AGAIN will I park here, and don't recommend anyone else do it either. I was lucky that they didn't take the cash I had in my car! But I didn't give a tip- My tip went to the extra hour they charged me for during parking. ...read more

Western & Southern Parking Garages

On Aug 29th, I returned from a Reds game at 5:40pm and was locked out of garage. I live in Cols and cannot express what a huge inconvenience this was for me. My g-friend's kids were home alone, pets needed care and my heart meds were at home. Downtown is not exactly safe on a Sunday night. We spent $150 on a hotel and missed 1/2 days work on Mon. My g-friend was starting a new job on Monday and was tramatized by the entire situation. Your sign posted inside of garage is vague. "Closed" does not exclusively mean "Cannot Access". The garage across the street was "closed" after event, but you could still access your vehicle. One does not notice the sign posted 8' in the air on the outside of the building when you have already parked and are walking to the game. I plan to contact Western Southern Life about this issue. I feel I should be compensated at least for the hotel and parking pass ($160 total). My address: 4243 Dublin Rd. Hilliard OH 43026. Cell# 614-353-8487. ...read more

It seems every other review agrees that the pay machine rarely works and today when I ran into that problem I was forced to go to the pay window at the exit. As I drove up all three employees in the pay window sat there and stared as they shook their head. Finally a man stood up and said there is nothing he can do, before even asking me what I needed!\t\n\t\nHe finally took my ticket and I informed him that the pay machine was broken and he said, "no it's not." I then heard him mumble "maybe you should find another place to park." I am pretty sure he was the manager! \t\n\t\nAbsolutely rediculous, I hope this is not their idea of good customer service!! I informed my co-workers (who all park there as well) and all of them agreed they employees there are very "unpleasant" and "mean." we will all be parking in a new garage from now on! ...read more
