The place on Glenway is terrible. My first time there and the older blonde lady was rude like she did not want to be there at all. She gave me no instructions on how to do anything, I had to keep asking questions and she was wrong on how to start the machine. she said to push the button, come to find out from the little girl working there you hold it down to get the machine to work. after about 4 minutes of the machine not working I told them and they said I was in there for 11 minutes. I was not and they refused to give me a refund or let me get the tan. Stay away from this company and definitely this glenway location, they treat you like a thief and a liar when they screw up and don't give you your money back. I have been doing laundry here for the last 20 months. In that time I have spent approximately $1700 on laundry. I have interacted with all the staff numerous times, so they likely know my face.\t\n\t\nThe last two times that I went there, one of the machines that I tried to use took my money, but did not start. BOTH times the worker, a young woman in her late 20s or early thirties, accused me of trying to steal $5.25 from them.\t\n\t\nThat attitude and disrespect for a 38 year old man, who has provided significant business to this shop and who should be well known to the 2 or 3 employees that work there, has turned me away from this establishment permananetly. ...read more

BettyBoop, I'm sorry but you're talking about the wrong facility. They do not sell antiques. Let's be sure we're bashing the right place before we write reviews shall we? During the winter months everyone's skin color fades to shades of pale. Lack of sun exposure and dry weather leave most people looking less than ideal when putting on a swim suit at the end of winter. Spring Break is not far away!Here a a few tips to make sure you are looking your best on a get-away to a warmer climate. (1) Drink lots of water: recommended is 8 cups daily. (2) Do not use soap. Soap has an alkaline pH and will strip your skin of its natural acidity leaving your skin vulnerable to bacteria and dehydration. Most foaming cleansers will do this, especially Cetaphil because of its sodium lauryl sulfate content. (3) Use a toner after cleansing. Use an alcohol free, hydrating toner. (4) If you are not already using a daily moisturizer this is a great time to start. (5) Schedule an Airbrush Tan appointment 1 or 2 days before your departure date. While an airbrush spray tan application takes about 20 minutes, you need 6-8 hours to develop a good tan skin color (tan color can develop up to 24 hours). Your first shower is just a rinse in warm water. During subsequent showering do not use bar soap. (see #2 above). Continue to moisturize daily. Your tan should last a week with proper care. Things to avoid include: hot tubs, pools, and the ocean. All will accelerate fading of your tan. NOTE: YOU STILL NEED SUNSCREEN. Airbrush tans do not offer any protection from UV rays.
