My elderly parents bought an Amana on 6-18-2010 and less than a year later it started leaking water from the bottom freezer. A service man came out and did nothing but cleaned the drain. He didn't speak with my parents or explain what was wrong. Now that I've returned home from Charlotte--the refrigerator continues to leak -- they put towel under the refrigerator. Very friendly service they always fix any problems we have. There was only one instance where we got some idiot who charged us one hundred something to tell us that we needed an electrician, almost seemed like we were an inconvenience because it was an aftehours call, we didn't have any heat ya jerk. Other than that they have been pretty good. Sometimes they don't have the right materials for the job and have to come back, seems like this has occured a few times.
