Being new in town, I decided to give this salon a try and got a haircut by one of the ladies there few weeks ago. Well, folks, I hate the result. I asked for texture and layering for my thin hair to give it some volume. The hairstylist sounded a bit too confident, even stating her qualification (20 years of experience), which for some odd reason making me feel uneasy and suspected that this might not turn out good. Yet I let her continue because I was curious of the result. Boy, was I right on that. While cutting, and later during the styling, she kept on saying how cute my 'new' (hair) style is. The truth is, the hair may look cute to her, but what I see is the most awful 1980s hair style I haven't seen on my head since my days in high school decades ago! Don't get me wrong, she's nice and everything, but that doesn't make up for the inability to handle my hair nor having outdated skills. Compare to hairstylists who ever worked on my crown in the past 10 years, she gave me the worst one for the money ($26). In fact, it cost me almost double what my favorite hairstylist charged me ($15) for the best haircut every time.
