This is a very unprofessional office/ staff. I don't recommend any of these offices at all. On numerous occasions they made appointments "AND DIDN'T EVEN NOTIFY ME." I feel that my legal rights have been violated here. I tried to notify the appointment setters on 9/9/ 2014 and they did nothing but goof off and laugh in the background. They didn't listen to a word I was saying to tell them that something is wrong. I never made any other appointments, because I didn't know what my work schedule was going to be. This is suppose to be a patient and health care environment not a grade school play ground. I went to the Hudson office. They set me up xrays and another appointment at the White Pond office. I spoke with Lisa Tell, the office manager, who was in complete denial. She was a waste of my time and didn't even care either. I didn't get anything in writing or any pre-appointment calls at all for any appointments. Only 1 no show the "day after" I was suppose to show up. I never had any no shows in the past. I am furious with this office for UNETHICAL PRACTICES. I have a right to be very upset. They violated my rights as a patient. This is the second time in the past year I have experienced this. I had to switch doctors due to my husband's insurance. If you know what is best, you will not mess around with this place and I WARN YOU, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INSURANCE INFORMATION. They will bill you for appointments, mammogram, and xrays that you never made. Now I am in a dispute with my insurance and the office. I took time to write this because I wanted to inform the public what this office is doing. I never made any appointments, didn't get anything in writing of the appointments and never received a single phone call about the appointments other than that I didn't show up. Don't you think that is a little strange????? I had to inform the medical board of my experience, because I tried to notify Lisa Tell about what was going on. She didn't believe me at all. There is something seriously UNETHICAL going on here. This review is based off of 2 incidents I have had with them of making appointments and not telling me about it. ...read more

After all that I was fed up so I decided to find a new DR. In the meantime this DR kept calling me and sending me letter after letter telling me I have to make my yearly exam appointment so I called and told them that I found a new DR. Well then I called to have all my records faxed over to my new DR and they charge you a fee to have everything transferred to a new DR which I don't think is right. They are MY records, they said even if I came in person to pick them up I would still have to pay a fee. They are my records and I should be able to do what I want with them. I have also been struggling with years of infertility and they didn't seem much help or caring. Just kept passing me from DR to DR for more tests but never would tell me what's wrong or what the tests came back at, maybe they didn't know what they were doing them selves and you never seen the same DR twice. I was a very UNHAPPY patient! ...read more

Expand Your Healthy Horizons

How many times have you tried – and failed – at a weight-loss program because it required you to give up the foods you love, eat the same meals every day, and stay stuck in a repetitive exercise program? As you might have figured out, deprivation and a lack of new experiences are downright boring and not the key to lasting weight loss. Don’t choose ordinary when you can have extraordinary. Live life with a sense of purpose and adventure! Experiment with new foods and flavors; diet food doesn’t have to be tasteless. Try new activities that challenge your body and your mind. Meet new people by signing up for a group fitness program. Look at yourself and the world in a whole new light. A healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be accomplished in one leap. Simple, small changes add up to a whole lot more over time, so be sure to seek out one new experience every day. It could be as simple as trying a new vegetable or buying a fitness magazine for the first time. The more you learn, the more your world will expand. ...read more
