Sean McLeod is incompetent and lacks ethics. I hired him to remodel a small restaurant, and he delayed for 6 weeks, accomplishing nothing, and walked off with over $6K of my money, and delayed me opening a month. Fortunately, I hired Ken Palladino to come in and clean up Sean's mess. I took Sean to court and won and received partial reimbursement for my loss, but Sean is sneaky. For example, he argued that our signatures only applied to one page of a three page contract...judge knew better & saw through his facade. Stay away & don't let him have others work on your property or you could be sued. His insurance only covers himself, not his employees, so if they are injured, you can be held liable. He's ok for small repairs, but nothing that requires genuine training and skill. Another (of many) quick example of his incompetence. We had to have a site plan approved by the Camillus planning board. The instructions clearly state it must be a scaled drawing, but Sean said he could draw with a pencil on the 1987 blueprints any changes...NOT...I hired an architect to draw a real site plan...WASTE of time and money...I have photos of his work and can answer any questions: deanrichards102@yahoo.com ...read more
