Salon H2O

1.0

By Limora at Citysearch

After having this salon recommended to me, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, my experience was an extremely poor one. The staff and management do not understand good customer service nor what being a professional entails. They think that knowing how to cut and style hair should be enough. What I received was a horrible haircut -- lopsided and uneven. Never had I been to a salon where I was in and out of the chair in 30 minutes. I felt that the hairstylist was uninterested in providing me with suggestions and just wanted to do as little as possible. Obviously, the results can attest to this. When I got home, I saw that the haircut was poor. When I called the salon to address this issue, I was not able to speak to a person live, but left a message on the answering machine. No one from the salon had the courtesy to return my call -- neither the hairstylist, nor the Owner. I called, again, the next day, and the Owner answered. I told her that my haircut was uneven and that I was not satisfied with the results. She was very defensive and insinuated that I was lying, without actually calling me a liar. I was told, "If you were unhappy, why did you leave?" I was also told that she never received any complaints before, and didn't understand why I would have one. (I find that very hard to believe.) I responded with telling her that "I don't have eyes in the back of my head so I could not tell at the time. I only noticed it when I got home (and it was very noticeable), since I was rushed out of the salon." Zaida, the Owner, was totally disinterested in helping me. Apparently, the staff takes on the attitude of owner. I was insulted and frustrated. They are only interested in taking your money. This is the worst example of customer service that I have ever been the recipient of. They need to take a course in developing their customer service and people skills, if they want repeated business from their clients, especially first-time clients. It's not enough these days to only know how to cut and style hair. Salons are a dime a dozen. Never had I receved so much pushback. In my mind, the customer is always right and they should have apologized and then be willing to fix the problem. So...as a result, I will have to find another hair salon to correct their unprofessinal work and incur another cost. My recommendation to anyone thinking about trying this Salon would be to stay away from this place! The Owner has failed to realize that they are not the only Salon in town. Clients expect to receive quality results and proper attentiveness when they pay for a service. They also expect the Salon to stand behind their work and make things right. When this does not happen (as in my case), clients will go elsewhere!!!! ...read more

First off let me start by saying to you just by calling this number today you have taken the first step in taking control of your future and creating your own destiny. I will show you howyoucan get a bigger piece of the pie! In the next few minuets I will tell you all about how you can take charge and increase your current income. Now make sure you have a pencil and paper in hand so you can follow and check this simple math, but if you miss anything don’t worry you can call back and listen again. If your on salary or 50/50 commission bringing in anywhere from $800 a week and better in this industry and you are still working to make someone else rich and successful, Then you are giving away “way”to much of your hard earned money. Ill say it again (repeat) Wouldn’t it be great if your clientele had a convenient, and comfortable place to come and have their services done. And wouldn’t it be just fantastic if you made your own prices thenyoucollected all of the money at your chair when your done. YES100 %of what you charged for those services and you have earned. And wouldn’t it be wonderful to pick your own days and hours thatyouwould like to work, and pick your own vacation days and vacation times. Have some one book your appointments. All in a stress free environment. Well we at Changes Hair Design can make all of that possible. Today we have to change with the times we have to move and bend, make adjustments to survive. Many Salons are stifled due to high overhead devastated by high rents high utilities and taxes. Making the atmosphere thick and stressful, uncomfortable. Changes Hair design has been in business for almost 25 years and with its recent makeover we are one of the most updated salons on the Island. So lets continueIf you are bringing in an average of say $1000 to $1200 per week you are giving away $500 to $600 every week to your boss. That’s $2000 to $2400 that you give to your boss every month. By renting a chair at Changes Hair Design for just $350 a week you get to keep $650 to $850 plus any gratuity you might make every single week. That means you get tokeep65 to over 70 % of what you make. Still with me ok then, If you take in more money a week then your percentage gets even higher because the chair rental stays the same. So market yourself as an individual contractor, promote your business and increase your own sales. Got it! For instance Lets say you do a lot of chemical and high end work and have a following that brings $1800 to $2000 a week. You get to keep $1450 to $1650 per week plus any gratuity you might make or better then 80 to almost 83%. Sounds like a dream but professionals who already have taken this challenge are living this dream and so can you. So if your in that category or even close to that category or If you currently own or have owned a salon and would like to retire to just having your own chair and your own clientele, keep your own money and let someone else pay all the bills and the overhead then you should take this challenge. There are limited chairs so don’t waist time. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity, Call now. Please make a visit to Changes Hair Design it is conveniently located where Port Richmond Avenue comes On the busy intersection of Forest Avenue and Willow brook Road on Staten islands north shore.
