Although I did not visit the Rhinebeck site, I had a horrible experience at the Wappingers office and with the staff at the main office in Poughkeepsie. I waited an hour and a half on two seperate occasions to meet with Carl Barbera who misdiagnosed my injury in five minutes and sent me out the door. I may have permanent damage to my ankle as a result of his negligence. I went to OADC for longterm pain hoping for new insight or maybe a new treatment, but above all I was hoping for a detailed explanation of the anatomical screw up causing my disability, something more than just a medical name, and I was really happy to be there-Iwas told Dr Ristic's THE BEST. I didnt wait long-in fact it was immediately evident to both of us that my condition wasn’t debilitating enough to be worthy of serious consideration, a cookiecutter case with no surgical options. Forced to interrupt his lightning speed treatment options, I stuttered incomprehensively to justify just being there and ask how/what was going on physically. But my inarticulateness only underscored what we already knew: my pain is trivial. The whole consultation took several minutes from start to end, maybe 7? I left chastised -a complete, selfish jerk.
