This review is for the Rego Park, Queens Boulevard MetroPCS. Today my mother went in there to buy a Samsung phone. A Southeast Asian guy with long hair who guys by the name "Patrick" and his co-worker, an Eastern European appearing young woman, were in the store. When my mother walked in, the store was empty except for those two employees. Despite the store being empty, she had to approach Patrick for help with her phone (currently on MetroPCS) phone. When she asked him for help, he said he could not help her because he's not tech support. She continued to ask for his help since it was a troubleshooting issue, and after all, he's a Metro PCS employee (despite standing around and doing nothing except talking with his co-worker at the time). He continued to refuse to help my mother for no apparent reason, and then turned to chat with his co-worker. When my mother confronted him about his rude "customer service," he told her to "get out of the store" and accused her of being rude to a non-existent customer that had been there the same time as her. When she asked him what his name was, he replied, " BING BANG CHONG" because my mother is of East Asian descent. He then yelled at her to "get out." His co-worker proceeded to tell my mother to "get the f*ck out" while she was busy eating food at her desk/the counter. What was the source of all this hostility? My mother going into MetroPCS to get tech support for her phone since she is a MetroPCS customer and then asking to buy a Samsung Phone. Patrick needs to be fired, as well as his co-worker. Patrick is a racist against East Asians (as shown by his racial slur against my mother, as well as his taunt to her---"who's going to support your claims?" if she decided to call the police. Beyond rude. Racist. Hostile. Aggressive. Threatening. If you're East Asian and/or against racism, please do not visit the Rego Park Metro PCS Store. This happened on July 5th, 2014, between 4:45 -5 pm. ...read more
